Build-A-Book work is begun upon receiving an order with Paypal payment along with an email regarding publishing goals for the project, any biographical information/previously published titles you'd like included, + the manuscript in MS Word as an email-attachment.

What gets returned – generally within one week's time, schedule permitting – is the same manuscript now with simple, straight-forward, properly formatted title & copyright pages, table of contents, chapters with appropriate chapter headings, page numbering, industry standard type size, spacing, etc., including sections for whatever 'About The Author' biographical information you've provided.

A sample, royalty-free book cover can also be included, if desired, which can be utilized if publishing on POD platforms. (Or writers are free to hire a professional cover designer instead, if they prefer. Projects aimed at traditional publishing houses do not require manuscript submissions arrive with potential covers since these folk have their own book cover designers at hand.)
