Do you know how many people say they: “always wanted to write a book”?
Some even get as far as actually writing & revising it...but then lose steam before going through what it takes to format their projects for submission to appropriate agents/publishing houses, or towards uploading with kick-ass covers to any of the many print-on-demand (POD)/e-publishing platforms that exist today.
Don't let this be you.
Have a *finished: Novel? Memoir? Children's Book? Sci Fi Thriller? Non-Fiction How To? Or some other great undertaking?
Ready to work with someone who has spent a lifetime collaborating on site + freelance with book/magazine/newspaper presses, film production, & POD/e-publishing companies large and small, including: Bantam Books, Amazon, HarperCollins, Lulu, Prentice Hall, Dell, Green Flame Omnimedia, Children’s Television Network, CBS, Popular Photography, Winds of Change, The Humanist, & many more?
Let someone with decades of book experience swiftly get that book baby into professionally formatted shape for either of the above end games, towards launching it OUT into the world.
(OR, just want to informally chat about all things publishing + other subjects? The ability to do that can be acquired here: https://premium.chat/TropicalCreatrix. Initial welcome discount credit applied to first chat.)
Author/ex-NY editor CRISTINA SALAT has long been the "secret weapon" behind her own + many other authors' publishing dreams manifesting in a variety of ways – including certain bestsellers & classics – and she is always happy to help take completed manuscripts the final step forward into correctly formatted shape for submission to agents/publishing houses or upload to POD/e-publishing platforms (even going so far as to design & include a potential book cover that can be used for the latter, if desired.)
All genres welcome from fiction to non-fiction, young adult/new adult/children's books to sci fi, investigative journalism to contemporary romance, etc.
Build-A-Book work is begun upon receiving an order with Paypal payment along with an email regarding publishing goals for the project, any biographical information/previously published titles you'd like included, + the manuscript in MS Word as an email-attachment.
What gets returned – generally within 1 - 2 weeks' time, schedule permitting – is the same manuscript now with simple, straight-forward, properly formatted title & copyright pages, hyperlinked table of contents & chapters (for the e-book version), appropriate chapter headings, industry standard spacing, type size, etc., including sections for whatever 'About The Author' biographical information you've provided.
A sample, royalty-free book cover can also be included, if desired, which can be utilized if aiming for independent POD/e-publishing platforms. (Or writers are free to hire a professional cover designer instead, if they prefer. Note: projects aimed at traditional publishing houses do not require manuscript submissions arrive with potential covers since these folk have their own book cover designers at hand.)
This combo Build-A-Book listing is for the creation of both a properly formatted e-book AND hardcover/paperback print version of the same book project, though book-building listings for either of these goals separately also exists here at e-Crater.
* Also of note: this service is appropriate for projects where writers have completed the writing/revision process. i.e. the book is finished, and – other than being put into professional submission shape – content-wise, it is ready to be born.
Writers with unfinished, not-quite-structurally-sound-yet manuscripts are better served by obtaining professional Developmental Editing feedback outlining a project's strengths/weaknesses/potential marketability issues, so that refinements can be made, via this listing: https://livefromthevolcano.ecrater.com/p/41872197/developmental-editing-most-genres-provided
Additionally, Q&A Publishing Consultations with author/ex-New York editor CRISTINA SALAT in order to obtain guidance about what's going on in the traditional/indie publishing industry today, or how to position one's self & one's projects for the best chance of their books having a long, fruitful shelf life can be acquired here: https://livefromthevolcano.ecrater.com/p/41864495/publishing-consultation-with-author-ex-ny
